New Dutch Game Show 'Fat Or Pregnant' Is So Wrong

April 14, 2017

A Dutch game show is getting a ton of attention Worldwide, and it's not the kind of attention anyone would want.

It's called Neem Je Zwemspullen Mee which translates to "Bring Your Bathing Suit." But why are everyone and their mother's brother's sister's uncle's aunt offended by the show?

The idea of the show is women come out on stage, and the male celebrity panelists have to look at their body and guess if they think they are fat or pregnant. There's also another segment where the men guess if the woman's breasts are natural or surgically enhanced. Who came up with this terrible idea?

The producers of the show said that the show is "a satirical game show" that aims to help the audience "laugh off all kinds of prejudices." Really? By picking on a woman's body?

People in the Netherlands where it airs are offended and have posted their outrage on social media and even started a petition to have the show pulled from TV.

What happened to good old fashioned game shows like The Price is Right or Wheel of Fortune? Who even watches this trash?
