News Blooper: Anchor Yacks Live on the Air

October 26, 2017

Thankfully for me, you can't see my face when I am on the radio. No, I don't have a face for radio, but I tend to make weird faces. Some may say I have the ultimate resting "B" face. I'd like to think it's just because I am in deep thought when the microphone is turned on.

My biggest fear is burping or getting insane hiccups while talking on the radio. But people on television have so many other things that can go very wrong while doing a live shot or newscast.

There are weird people that come into the report to act like jerks, wardrobe malfunctions, or saying the wrong thing and laughing hysterically. I am sure there are a million more that I am not thinking of right now.

One Denver morning news program had a segment go viral because something happened you don't see every day! What happens when you eat a chip made from the hottest pepper in the World besides red faces and watering eyes?

I won't be trying that chip any time soon. I would probably need an ambulance!
