Kids these days have to be good at everything. It seems parent's expectations are higher than ever when it comes to grades in school, athletics, extracurricular activities, and even hobbies.

If your kid isn't performing well in Math, you can hire a tutor to help them. Is your son struggling to make the cut on the football team? You can hire someone to help him amp up his skills. And if your kids aren't good at playing video games, there are now tutors for that too!

Video games actually help kids be more social and there are plenty of studies that have found that kids who game are more physically fit. I guess that old stereotype of the gamer living in his mother's basement with no social life is no longer a thing. Is this why parents are paying upwards of $50 an hour to make sure their kids have better gaming skills?

Most of the parents interviewed by the Wall Street Journal said they hoped their kid's gaming hobby could turn into a career and lead them to get scholarships for college.

Just like beauty pageant winners win some money, the same can happen in the gaming world, especially with Fortnite. Epic Games, the creator of Fortnite, announced they would be awarding $100 million to players in different tournaments.
