Roseanne Barr has accepted her fate after she sent out a racially charged tweet last month. The tweet ended up causing ABC to cancel her number one sitcom Roseanne. But last week, ABC announced they found a way to bring the rest of the cast back in a spinoff series called The Connors that would debut in the Fall.

She called into Rabbi Shmuley Boteach's podcast and broke down in tears. She expressed that she felt a lot of remorse for the tweet and that she "lost everything."

“I’m a lot of things. I’m a loudmouth and all that stuff, but I’m not stupid, for God’s sake," she stressed. "I never would have wittingly called any black person… say they are a monkey. I never would do that! And I didn’t do that."

Barr continued, “And if people think that I did that, it just kills me. I didn’t do that, although they think I did. And if they do think that, I am so sorry that I... you know, it was so unclear and stupid. I’m very sorry but I don’t think that, I never would do that. I have loved ones who are African-American. I just can't stand it. I've made a huge error.”

She again mentioned that she was under the influence of the sleep medication Ambien when she sent the tweet.

I am just happy that the rest of the cast and crew will have jobs because ABC found a way to bring the show back without its main character.

Will you watch The Connors when it debuts this Fall?
