Service Lets You See Movies in Theaters for Just $9.95

But is there some kind of catch?

August 17, 2017

Going to the movies is expensive. Tickets are $10-12 depending on the theater, and then there are all the concessions you want to eat to add to the cost.

But a service is looking to help us save BIG on seeing movies in theaters with a flat fee charge. It's called MoviePass, and for just $9.95 you can see a movie in the theater once per day with no blackouts. Wow! Now see, I thought for sure there would be some caveat that would prevent members from seeing the new movies for the first week or two.

The only thing I see that's excluded from this deal are movies shown in IMAX and 3D. The service is available in over 4,000 theaters nationwide. That includes major theater chains like AMC, Cinemark, Regal, and some independent chains too!

Also, there's no commitment or long term contract to sign. So you can sign up for a month or two and cancel at any time. Sounds like a great deal. If you see more than one movie a month, this service is definitely for you.
