Should Parents Dining With Kids Have a Drink Limit?

One New York restaurant says yes!

July 28, 2017

I have been out to eat on many occasions and watched parents dining with their kids ordering a ton of drinks. It would be my hope that they were walking home or maybe using Uber, but sadly that's not always the case. Unfortunately, everyone is not responsible and will get behind the wheel and endanger their kids and anyone else on the road.

That's why one New York restaurant has decided to limit how much people dining with children can drink. Peddler's Bar & Bistro in upstate NY clearly posts the drinking rule on all of its menus. "We at Peddler's will limit one of the responsible adults to 1 alcoholic beverage while dining with children."

The policy has actually been in place since 2010 but suddenly has become a hot topic on social media.

Do you agree with this restaurant's policy? I love the idea, honestly. I also think it should be illegal to smoke cigarettes in a car while a child is inside it. I think they should make that a law because it's endangering children.
