Food addiction is real. It can lead to eating disorders where some people binge and other people obsess and starve themselves. If you're trying to make a lifestyle change and eat healthy, sometimes certains foods or the things within foods make it really hard to stick to the program.

Ever try to give up caffeine? How about sugar or carbs? If you completely cut these items out you will likely feel flu-like symptoms for a few days. That's your body withdrawing from it. I just eliminated suagr from my diet including artificial sweeteners and it's rough. Do you know how many foods have some sort of sugar or sweetener in them? Tons!

There are certain foods that science has proven are much more addictive than other. Any guesses which ones may have made the list?

1. Pizza: The cheese, the carbs, the grease, and the toppings just make pizza so darn good. 

2. Chocolate: Because chocolate is life especially during certain times of the month.

3. Cookies: Sugary and yummy, it's no surprise they've made the list. 

4. Chips: There's something to that saying you just can't have one. Before you know it, you've eaten through half of the bag.

5. Ice Cream: I scream, you scream, we all scream for ice cream.
