In case you didn't know, cats are amazing creatures! I know I am a bit biased because I have two cats and I have always had cats, but this new video that has come out just proves cats are more incredible than even I knew.

Last month, there was a 6.1 magnitude earthquake in Japan. There was a kitty daycare center that had video surveillance of its kitty clients and they begin reacting 10 seconds before the actual earthquake hits. They all start waking up, running across the room, and getting anxious.

There seems to be some research that has found that cats and dogs seem to be able to sense a coming earthquake before it hits. Remember that huge Magnitude 9 earthquake in Japan in 2011? It caused so much devastation and destruction. Pet owners reported that their cats and dogs began acting differently up to a few hours before the quake hit.

Why do they seem to know an earthquake is coming? Both cats and dogs have a wider hearing range and better scent detection than humans.
