Why Are People Mad Over This Pepsi Commercial?
Pepsi released a new commercial yesterday and it's getting a lot of backlash on social media.
The commercial features a peace protest and Kendall Jenner because nothing says Peace protest like throwing a Kardashian in the mix.
Check out the commercial below and see if you get offended or understand why so many people are upset.
People are bashing Pepsi on twitter.
If #coke came out with a new slogan that simply said, "stfu and put us in your mouth," it would still be 100x better than that #Pepsi ad

The issue is that people feel that having Kendall Jenner show up to a protest takes away from the importance of protesting.

"Pepsi's new ad Kendall Jenner 'ends racism' by handing police men a Pepsi - way to degrade 50 yrs of black/minority struggle," wrote one person on Twitter.
What I find odd is all of these brands trying to make some sort of political statement in their commercials. In a statement to CNN, Pepsi said: "This is a global ad that reflects people from different walks of life coming together in a spirit of harmony, and we think that's an import message to convey."
