You Can Hire Someone to Give Your Kids "The Talk"

Is this something you'd ever consider?

I bet you remember the day your parents or one of your parents sat you down to have the talk. You know the birds and bees talk?

For me, the talk wasn't anything that went too in-depth. I remember the gist of it is that I'm a sweet girl and boys like to take advantage of girls like me and that I needed to be careful. There was no mention of sex, protection, birth control, or pregnancy.

I pretty much learned the details from friends or in school through gossip and overhearing people's conversations about their date last night. This wasn't the best way to learn about thing kind of stuff because there was a lot of misinformation being passed around.

Personally, I don't have children, so I haven't had to sit down and have the talk or even think about it. But I can see where this can be very awkward for parents and even more so for their kids. There's good news if you are struggling to find the right words to say to your kids about sex and everything that goes with it.

Parents can now hire someone else to talk with their kids. It all started with a couple in the U.K. posting a wanted ad for this type of professional. It reads the professional will be needed to teach the children “about the complexities of puberty, intimacy, and consent” as the parents are struggling to answer their questions themselves.

How much can a professional make talking to kids about these issues? $3,500!!!

Even celebrity talk show hosts struggle to talk openly to their kids.

Would you trust a stranger to explain things to your kids?
