Beyonce Is the Music Industry's Highest Paid Woman of 2017

November 21, 2017

Well, she is QUEEN Bey!

It has been reported that Beyonce Knowles-Carter is 2017's highest paid woman in the music industry. According to Forbes, the superstar pulled in $105 million pretax. It's no surprise considering her Formation World Tour grossed a quarter of a billion dollars.

The girl power continues with Adele ($69 million), Taylor Swift ($44 million), Celine Dion ($42 million), and Jennifer Lopez ($38 million) following Mrs. Carter in the top five. Country icon, Dolly Parton ($37 million), is the sixth highest paid woman this year thanks to her Pure & Simple Tour.

Forbes calculated these outcomes by taking the artist's earning from June 1, 2016 through June 1, 2017 and gathering data from interviews as well as Nielsen SoundScan, Pollstar, and the RIAA.
