Demi Lovato is an open book when it comes to her fans, however, her life has been Simply Complicated over the past decade. In her new documentary released October 17, we learned 3 surprising things about the superstar. 

The "Sorry Not Sorry" singer recently shared on Twitter that she refuses to label herself. If you're one of the people online curious about her sexuality, well, you're just going to have to watch the clip. Lovato revealed that she's indeed using dating apps with no preference of gender. Yes, QUEEN.

The 25-year-old is now celebrating 5 years of sobriety but is reflecting on her days of drug addiction and suffering from depression. Lovato speaks out about everything from the first time she used Cocaine on Disney Channel, her suicidal thoughts, and how it impacted her relationships, especially with the Jonas Brothers

Another complicated factor in Lovato's life, food. Sadly, since she was a little girl, an eating disorder has followed her. She is still trying to figure out how to treat it and recently relapsed after breaking up with her boyfriend of six years, Wilmer Valderrama.
