It seems like there is another movie sequel coming out every week. Well, here's one more:

A new Mamma Mia film is in the works. Production hasn’t begun, yet, but Amanda Seyfried just signed on to take on her role in the titled Mamma Mia: Here We Go Again!

The original film, which revolved around all of ABBA’s best hits, brought in more than $600 million worldwide. Seyfried played the role of Sophia, and Meryl Streep played her mom (Donna Sheridan).

Well, yes, it has also been reported that many of the stars in the first film are expected to be involved in the sequel. It looks like Meryl Streep, Pierce Brosnan, Colin Firth, and Christine Baranski will all reprise their roles.

The film is due out in July 2018, according to published reports. That actually marks the 10th anniversary of the hit film.

Can you believe it’s been almost a decade since Mamma Mia was in theaters? That's nuts! In fact, the hit Broadway show actually just celebrated its 20th anniversary.
