Do Bees Have Knees?

Yes, bees really do have knees. Their legs have six sections; each one is connected by a joint, so the one between the femur and tibia would be considered the knee.


Geckos eat their own skin.

The GEICO Gecko has kept the image of geckos pretty clean over the years, but they do have at least one weird habit...when they shed their skin, they eat it. Not only does it provide them nutrients, but it also helps to keep predators from finding them.


Jack Daniel died from kicking a safe.

Legend has it that the Jack Daniel, founder of the famed Tennessee whiskey distillery, died because he forgot the combination to his safe and kicked it out of anger. They say he kicked it so hard that he gave himself gangrene. The safe is still alive and kickin’.
