The pandemic brought about the Verzuz battles. It began as a webcast series. The first showdown was a virtual DJ battle, with Timbaland and Swizz Beatz facing off back in March.

Since then various singers have participated, but now we want to include two talented Charlotte TV weather personalities: Chris Mulcahy  vs Nick Kosir

Chris Mulcahy is the singing, songwriting weekend forecaster on NBC Charlotte.  Chris is a Florida State University grad who was bitten by the weather bug when he was just six-years-old. He loves playing guitar and writing songs in his spare time. WCNC believes his musical gift so much that the station asked him to write a little fall ditty to promote the weather team. Between your NBC shows and commercials you'll see Chris strumming his guitar and giving us a taste of his folksy vocals. See Chris in action

Nick Kosir is the rapping, dancing morning weatherman on Fox 46. He says he's "known worldwide as ‘'The Dancing Weatherman’ and the ‘#DripChronicles Guy.” He went to the University of Akron and rapped his first forecast in 2009. His rhymes and moves routinely rake up thousands of views on social media. He specializes in slaying every Tikdance.

Sure its tough to judge singing an original tune versus mastering the latest moves on Tik Tok, but we challenge you to pick just one!
