Since Linkin Park frontman Chester Bennington’s death last July, fans have continued to comfort Talinda Bennington (wife of the late singer) and her family.

And Talinda continues to comfort fans—whom she lovingly refers to as the “LP Family”—in return, especially on Twitter, where she “started a little movement,” reaching out to the LP Fam to ask that they help support each other in any way they can. “They give me the strength," says Talinda.

She continues, "They make his death have some sort of meaning to it. In a world full of chaos and nonsensical things happening, this makes sense. This has order to it. It’s healing for my children, as well.”

In the interview below, hear her share more messages of gratitude for the entire LP Family and update us on how the Bennington family’s been since Chester’s passing.

In addition to Talinda’s goal of supporting LP fans and changing the current mental health landscape, she’s also working on plans to mark what would’ve been Chester’s 42nd birthday on March 20.

As for her family? She wants everyone to know that, “We’re doing okay. We’re getting through it, and the support’s appreciated. It doesn’t fall on deaf ears.”
