Michelle Branch Engaged to Black Keys' Patrick Carney

Over the weekend, Michelle Branch celebrated her birthday with a special surprise.

The Black Keys’ drummer Patrick Carney served Michelle Branch's birthday cake with a side of an engagement ring. The 37-year old rocker proposed just before Branch blew out her birthday candles, giving her a unique, art-deco-style ring to make it official. Branch was celebrating her 34th birthday this week. 

Branch shared a picture of the ring on her Instagram account:

Thank you for all the birthday love and wishes. Last night, right before I blew out my candles, @officerpatrickcarney asked me to marry him and then I had nothing left to wish for ✨❤️ 34 might be the best year yet.

Branch's divorce to her bass player husband, Teddy Landau, was finalized in 2015. Michelle and Patrick met later that year at Grammy party. Patrick recently co-produced Branch’s latest album, Hopeless Romantic.
