Niall Horan: A One Direction Reunion Is Still Likely

When One Direction went on "hiatus" a little more than a year ago, the band was very adamant that it would not be the end of 1D.

Liam Payne insisted in late 2016 that a reunion would definitely happen. Now Niall Horan is saying the same thing. Horan is on a bit of a media tour to promote his second single, "Slow Hands."

Horan says that the guys definitely needed a break from their One Direction life. The band had a grueling schedule, and the four guys (Niall, Liam, Harry, and Louis) each needed a chance to be themselves.

They have all been busy releasing solo music lately. As a result, Horan says there is no timeline for a reunion. In fact, he suspects it would come after they each have solo tours to support their individual projects.

Niall told The SUN that the band will likely be reunited whenever they get the call. Will all of the guys come back? It's possible, but it's also possible that it may be a trio.

It sounds like all options are on the table still, but we'll take this as a positive sign that One Direction will take to the stage once again.
