It's another '90's comeback! Deadline is reporting that an eight-episode revival of Roseanne is officially in the works.

The show's stars are all expected reprise their roles, according to the report published on Friday. Yes, Roseanne Barr, John Goodman, Sara Gilbert and Laurie Metcalf are all expected to be involved in the project. In fact, the intent is for other core cast members (like Big Bang Theory star Johnny Galecki) to appear as well. Roseanne's original executive producers are also onboard, according to the report.

Multiple networks are said to be bidding on the project at this point. Roseanne originally aired on ABC, but other outlets (like Netflix) are believed to be interested in the project.

EW confirmed the news, but their sources say that nothing has been finalized yet.

If you remember the finale, you may be wondering how Dan Conner (John Goodman) could re-appear? In 2009, Barr wrote on her website where she envisioned the characters being if the show was ever revived. She expected that Dan would return after having faked his own death.

A resurgence of popular shows from the '90s and early '00s is underway, of course. Netflix has already revived Full House and The Gilmore Girls. NBC is releasing new episodes of Will & Grace this fall, and The X-Files are returning to FOX.

May 20 of this year will actually mark 20 years since the finale of Roseanne first aired. It was watched by more than 20 million people.

We can already hear the show's iconic harmonica playing from Lanford, IL 20 years later...
