Selena Gomez to Voice Character In Upcoming 'Doctor Doolittle' Film

Selena Gomez will add another impressive notch to her acting resume in the coming months.

The "Fetish" singer will voice a character in the upcoming Doctor Doolittle film, according to published reports

The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle will be the latest movie in the Doctor Doolittle series, which launched in 1998. Eddie Murphy starred in the original film, and several sequels have been created in the past 20 years.

Gomez  will have plenty of star power joining her in the movie. Robert Downey Jr. will reportedly star in film. Meanwhile, Antonio Banderas and Emma Thompson are also on board for the film. 

Selena is currently serving as an executive producer of the series, 13 Reasons Why. The second season of the hit Netflix show is expected to drop later this year.

The Voyage of Doctor Doolittle is slated to hit theaters on April 12, 2019.
