Tyrese Gibson Says Will and Jada Smith Gave Him $5 Million to Stay Off Social Media

November 7, 2017

UPDATED (11/8/17): Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith may not have given Tyrese the money after all, according to TMZ. So we're not sure who to believe here right now. Until then it's just a weird story, and we're hoping for the best for Tyrese.

ORIGINAL STORY: This story is a little tough to follow, but it sounds like it has a happy ending thanks to Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith?

Tyrese (the rapper turned Fast and the Furious movie star) was crying on social media last week. He alleges legal fees associated with a nasty custody battle over his 10-year-old daughter had set him back quite a bit. Plus, he has to pay $13,000 a month in child support.

Tyrese was even frustrated with  Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson becuase his spinoff film with Jason Statham would delay the release of the next Fast and The Furious movie, and it would hurt Tyrese financially. It sounds like the two have already made up.

Well, now it sounds like Will Smith & Jada Pinkett Smith are coming to the rescue for Tyrese. According to Tyrese's most recent Instagram post, the couple allegedly gave him a gift of $5 million dollars. They money should cover some of his court fees and keep him and his wife “afloat” during their desperate time of need, as Tyrese battles his ex-wife.

The money, however, comes with a catch. Will & Jada apparently told that 38-year-old actor that he has to stay off social media.

The irony here is that we found out about the money from a post he shared on his own social media accounts. It’s since been delete, but hush, dude!
