Katy Perry’s career has gone through many iterations. First, she was ""One of the Boys before "Teenage Dream" went global. She’s played the Super Bowl halftime show, stumped for a presidential candidate and live streamed her life for days on end.

But before Witness or Prism, Katy was a sixth grader in Christian school with a “mischievous” side and a best friend: Ahnika Michealsen-Johnson.

Last night (March 5), Katy appeared on Jimmy Kimmel Live! and the host (fresh off his Oscars gig) invited Ahnika to reminisce with Katy about their middle school experiences.

Jimmy made Katy play a guessing game by putting six people up on a video wall, and Kimmel made Katy guess which person was from her past.

Watch Katy and Ahnika’s reunion here:

At first, Katy had a hard time remembering Ahnika and called her “Erica,” but sixth grade was a long time ago. Katy remembered the time she was “suspended for humping a tree” and Ahnika said all her memories of Katy involve boobs.

“You were telling my younger sister and I that we could not wear a bra to bed because if we did, they would crush our boobs and they would never grow,” she remembered.

Perry will make her debut appearance as a judge on the reboot of American Idol this Sunday night (March 11) at 8pm ET on ABC.
