WATCH: Lady Gaga Debuts New Song "The Cure" at Coachella
By: Joe Hyer
Lady Gaga surprised the Coachella crowd on Saturday (April 15) when she debuted a new song during the epic performance.
In fact, the crowd seemed to love Lady Gaga's the song, which is called “The Cure."
The single hit streaming services immediately after Saturday's show. It is not clear if “The Cure” is part of a larger release (like an album or something). The 31-year-old singer did, however, tell the crowd that she was “back in the studio."
Gaga released her fifth LP Joanne back in October. She will also kick off the Joanne Tour in August. She also performed many of her other hits during the powerful set including "Born This Way," "Just Dance," "Bad Romance," and more.
It was announced in late February that Lady Gaga would replace Beyoncé as the festival's headlining act this year. Beyonce's pregnancy forced her dropped out of the show, but she is expected to headline Coachella in 2018.
