Why Are U.S Dads Getting Older?

The average age for U.S dads has increased. Not unlike George Clooney many men are opting to enter into fatherhood at a much later stage in life. Is this due to the fact many Americans are also waiting later to get married? Read more on that from ABC here.

The average age of fatherhood in the United States increased from 27.4 to 30.9 between 1972 and 2015. Dads 40 and older (actor George Clooney recently became a father to twins at 56) more than doubled during the same span.
